when i get tired of whatever one cd i usually travel with, i turn on the radio and look for npr. i took the antenna off of my truck because ... well, just because, so it makes finding npr difficult most the time. anyhow, i heard two things today in one radio blurb.
1. "...he was from before the world war 1 when there was no self pity."
considering the circumstances life has delivered. i feel like im doin pretty damn fine...
and
2. "...love is worth it." i literally stopped my truck for 15 minutes and decided to get lost in the santa cruz mountains. this makes number 1 seem totally impassable.
now im at home and ive got the dutchess and the duke on the radio and the worlds more than upside down.
